Deadenders

The Dead Boy Detectives

Featuring art by Warren Pleece (HELLBLAZER) with inks by Richard Case (DOOM PATROL) and Cameron Stewart (INVISIBLES) and covers by Philip Bond (KILL YOUR BOYFRIEND), Deadenders is a post-apocalyptic tale like no other.

Life is hard in Sector 5 of New Bedlam, USA. Twenty years after a mysterious cataclysm that resulted in the sky being literally destroyed. Civilization is divided into strict ghettos of the haves and have-nots. Bartholomew "Beezer" Beezenbach gets by like most other young men-dealing drugs, running the streets with his friends, fighting with his parents and his girlfriend. But there's something different about Beezer. He has visions, of people playing on a sunny beach where a toxic lake stands, and a shining city full of smiling faces where the dirty slums of Sector 5 were five seconds earlier. To make matters worse, scientists from the restricted, upper-class sector have taken an interest in Beezer and his visions, and even he may not be able to ride fast enough to outrace his destiny.
